Dr. Miranda Clark-Baker

Veterinarian

Dr. Miranda Clark-Baker graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2012 and then earned her degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Saint George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Dr. Clark-Baker joined the team at Countryside Veterinary Clinic in 2022. Giving older pets comfort and ensuring they have a good quality of life as they age, is one of her passions which is why senior pet care is her favorite part of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Miranda Clark-Baker enjoys going to plays, concerts, and Louisiana Tech sporting events like baseball, basketball, and football in her free time. Dr. Clark-Baker also finds joy in fishing, sewing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Their family wouldn’t be complete without Amos Moses, a Golden Retriever who loves outdoor activities.

Dr. James Lasiter is a 1998 alumnus of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and earned his DVM degree from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. In 2018, Dr. Lasiter founded Countryside Veterinary Clinic and opened its doors to the public. Helping people get more quality time with their beloved pets is what Dr. James Lasiter considers his favorite part of veterinary medicine.

Karey holds an associate degree in Animal Science from Central Florida Community College. She became part of the Countryside Veterinary Clinic family in 2018 where she enjoys meeting new clients and patients. Karey has always loved working with animals and taking care of them.

In her spare time, she adores time outdoors with family. Karey shares her home with four dogs, namely Camo the Labrador, Willow the Corgi, Max the Feist, and Merl, a Treeing Feist.

Abigail is a 2021 graduate of Louisiana State University-Shreveport with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science. In 2020, Abigail came onboard Countryside Veterinary Clinic and has been enjoying the company of her coworkers ever since. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being able to care for animals and advocate for them.

When she’s not busy at work, Abigail can be found cooking, deer hunting, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her house is not a home without Diesel, her German Shepherd, Ash, her Labrador Retriever, and Max, the mixed-breed. Like most dogs, they all love playing chase and fetch!

Gloria started working at Countryside Veterinary Clinic in 2022. She finds it very rewarding to be part of a team that helps sick patients feel better and fully recover. What she appreciates most about the job is getting to see all of the pets and having the opportunity to interact with pet parents.

In her spare time, Gloiria can be found enjoying the outdoors or just watching movies at home. She also loves hanging out with family and friends. Her family is also includes  Frankie, her sleepy dachshund who loves going for walks and taking car rides. Of course, napping is Frankie’s favorite pastime!
